“Where did you get that amazing top? I love it.” Chances are she went to Ishara, Gastown’s latest boutique retailer. Located on 38 Water Street in the centre of Historic Gastown, Ishara carries premium designer labels exclusively for women. With so much anticipation surrounding their grand opening, the Gastown Blog was excited to finally take a tour of the space and checkout their latest in-style lines.
“Basically we’re your best friend’s closet.” Amrit, owner of Ishara tell us, as she smiles half jokingly. “We carry lots of luxury and in-style items, for women, from great designers. We work really hard to be the “go-to-place” for your events, whether you need a basis casual top for going out or a dress for a cocktail party, we have great clothing for many occasions.”
Amrit opened Ishara today on November 20th after a year and half at Vancouver’s Oakridge Mall. “This is a fantastic space. We’re really excited to meet everyone in Gastown.”
