I guess attendance exceeded expectations as a number of the competitors were out of chili before the 3:00pm cutoff for judging. The beer garden was rather sad -- more of a chicken coop than a garden. Hopefully, next year's setup will be more conducive to relaxing. How about just fencing off the entire block? Of course, need to work with the other businesses that don't have access via Water or Cordova to get their buy-in... Great competition!
