A style that’s landed their clothing on several international fashion magz like Glamour and casaD. Unfortunately, Claudia Schulz, designer and owner of Mooncruise*|gallery, is bidding one last farewell to her clients and companions in Gastown. After 5 years in the hood, Mooncruise*|gallery is closing, but not without a bang.
Burke and Hair: Gastown’s Hidden Gem
Last week, the Gastown Blog listed the many hair salons located in this neighborhood. Well, we’ve missed out one hidden gem that many locals have been raving about – Burke and Hair. Rated second in “Best in Style” by the Georgia Straight in 2008, this salon offers everything from cuts to colours for both men and women. Located inside the beautiful 55 Water Street building, the Gastown Blog team was excited to check it out.
