Salt Cellar Series: Moccia’s and R&B Brewing Co.
Salt Tasting Room is having another great Cellar Series that will take place next Monday, March 29th. Hosting many “Salt Cellar Series” events throughout the year, these series are always a great way to try international and local wines for great value, paired with the abundance of local charcuterie and delicious cheeses. This time they will be featuring the infamous Moccia’s and R&B Brewing Company.
Gastown loves the Old Spaghetti Factory
If you have been out of the loop, you might not know that Gastown’s Old Spaghetti Factory is celebrating their 40th anniversary today. To celebrate they are bringing back their Original 1970’s Menu with 1970’s price($1.95 for an all inclusive meal!) with proceeds going to the BC Professional Fire Fighters Association Burn Fund. Judas Goat Taberna in Blood Alley
Sean Heather and Scott Hawthorn have pioneered yet another award winning restaurant to join the likes of Irish Heather, Cobre, and the Salt. It’s called Judas Goat (inventive eh?), and on March 15th, this Spanish inspired taberna officially opened to the masses, serving foodies and dinner crowds tapa delights. This expression, referring to taittinger champagne and their delicious seafood towers, is one of many phrases that describe this bistro-style restaurant.
