Baron Gallery: Void of Hue

Baron Gallery will be featuring Nu-Urban installations, paintings and sculptures on Thursday, February 11. This exhibit is called “Void of Hue” by Vancouver artist Vincent R. Dumoulin and Vancouver-based Italian artist Peeta. Together, they have created works that are completely different while sharing a common principle; that being, the use of white as the exclusive colour in order to limit interference of light on the subject while maintaining purity of form.

Dumoulin’s sculpture makes use of sacred mathematical principles and meditative energy combined with hard edge and revolutionary materials. Peeta’s two and three dimensional work is organic and flowing each providing him with an eternal circle of new creative form.

The opening reception will start at 7pm until 9pm on February 11, with both artists in attendance.
